This is a pre-war example, issued to Otto Weihe in

1936.  This served him throughout the war and was

 never replaced.  Otto Weihe survived the war and

I aquired a number of his documents including

Verwundetabzeichen in Schwarz, KvK II mit

Schwerten, KvK I mit Schwerten., and Krimschild.

Translation:

Only valid for the duration of military service (must

be surrendered at discharge from service).
