Kriegsverdienst Kreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwerten
War Service Cross, 2nd Class, With Swords.

This is a more typical example of an award document. It is printed on a heavy paper. At the top you may notice some damage. It appears
that someone sewed a KvK II ribbon and medal to the document. You can see the outline on the document.
Translation:
In the name of the Führer
and Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht
I award to
Gefreiter Emil Klischat
of Truck Company 206
the War Service Cross, 2nd Class with Swords
In the Field* November 1, 1943,
by the Oberst of the 206. Infantry Div.
* Div. Gef. St. = Division Gefect Stand (Divisional Battle Position)
**Also note the I.V. above the signature. It means in Vertretung or in English in place of, that is to say the real Oberst did not sign this document, but someone acting under his authority.
Here is the typical bag that most KvK IIs came in.

The bag is paper, high pulp content, of a reddish orange color. Printed on the back is the name of the medal's
manufacture.
In this case it is Carl Poellath from Schrobenhausen. (name maybe incorrect-it is hard to read).
Well I just did a google search and I had it right! This company has been making medals and other metal items
since 1778.
